3.1 Booking Requirements

By booking any guided trip or service, you confirm that:

You meet any stated age, physical ability, or safety requirements
You understand and accept the inherent risks of outdoor wilderness activities
You are responsible for all members of your booking party and agree to these Terms on their behalf

3.2 Customer Cancellations

Cancellations are subject to our posted Cancellation Policy. Fees may apply depending on timing and trip type. No-shows are non-refundable.

3.3 Company Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule trips at our discretion due to conditions including but not limited to:

Unsafe weather or environmental conditions
Ice or water safety concerns
Wildlife hazards
Mechanical or equipment issues
Guide availability
Government regulations or restrictions
Any safety-related concern

If we cancel a trip, customers will be offered a reschedule or refund. We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel, lodging, or personal expenses.

4. No Guarantee of Catch or Outcome

Fishing and wildlife experiences are dependent on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

We make no guarantees regarding:

Fish catch results
Species availability
Wildlife sightings
Weather conditions
Personal expectations or outcomes

5. Assumption of Risk

Participation in guided outdoor activities in Alaska involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Slippery ice or terrain
Extreme cold and changing weather
Water travel and boat operations
Wildlife encounters
Equipment failure or malfunction
Risk of injury or illness

By booking or participating in any trip, you voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by guides.

6. Photography & Media Release

By participating in any guided trip, service, or activity with Solstice Adventure Company LLC, you acknowledge and agree that photos and videos may be taken during the experience.

You grant Solstice Adventure Company LLC the unrestricted right to use photographs, video recordings, or other media captured during your trip that may include your image, likeness, voice, or participation for lawful business, marketing, and promotional purposes. This includes use on websites, social media platforms, advertisements, brochures, online listings, and other promotional materials, without compensation or additional approval.

If you do not wish to appear in photos or media, you must notify us in writing prior to your trip. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, however incidental or background inclusion may still occur.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Alaska law, Solstice Adventure Company LLC is not liable for any:

Injuries, accidents, or damages arising from participation in trips or services
Loss or damage of personal property
Delays, cancellations, or interruptions of services
Website errors, downtime, or technical issues
Misuse of booking systems or services

All services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photos, videos, logos, graphics, and branding, is the property of Solstice Adventure Company LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
