Full Day (8+ hours) Delta Clearwater Trophy Arctic Grayling Fishing Adventure
The Delta Clearwater is a stunning, crystal-clear river known for its incredibly shallow, winding channels, part of what makes it such a unique Arctic grayling fishery, and one of the best fisheries in the state. Our jet boat is specially designed for shallow water, and at times it may gently skim or lightly brush the river bottom as we navigate through these productive fishing areas. This allows us to reach remote stretches of river where propeller propeller powered boats would never be able to go, grayling are abundant, and the scenery is truly unforgettable.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Fairbanks to Delta Junction before launching onto a river famous for trophy Arctic grayling, incredible scenery, and peaceful wilderness. Whether you're an experienced angler or have never picked up a fishing rod, this trip offers an authentic Alaska experience for all ages and skill levels.
Arctic grayling are one of Alaska's most iconic freshwater fish and are rarely found across much of the world. For many visitors, this may be their only opportunity to see or catch one in its natural habitat.
While the fishing is outstanding, this trip is about much more than catching fish. The Delta Clearwater River is one of the most scenic destinations near Fairbanks, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, photography, and experiencing Alaska's wilderness away from the crowds.
As a locally owned Fairbanks fishing guide service, we provide fishing gear, free transportation is available (if you need transportation please contact us), and instruction so you can focus on enjoying the adventure. Exclusions
You will be required to hold a valid sport fishing license from Alaska Dept. of Fish & Game, this is something we are not able to purchase for you. The license must be signed to be valid and this can be done using the markup tool on your phone. YOU DO NOT NEED A KING SALMON STAMP, please be careful and DO NOT BUY THE KING SALMON STAMP, often times the king salmon stamp is automatically added to your cart in the ADF&G store.

Due to the remote location and unique logistics of our Delta Clearwater River fishing trips, advance notice is required for all bookings. This allows us to properly prepare equipment, coordinate travel, and ensure the best possible experience on the water. Last-minute bookings may not be available. Please contact us for more details, or book your trip and we will approve it within 24 hours. This adventure starts at 8am if you selected transportation, meaning we will pick you up at your preferred location at 8am. If you did not select transportation the meeting time at the boat launch will be 10am
What do I need to bring?
For your full-day guided adventure on the Delta Clearwater River, we recommend coming prepared so you stay comfortable and enjoy every moment on the water.
We provide all necessary fishing gear, including waders and boots, so at minimum your lower half will stay dry throughout the trip.
Please bring:

A warm base layer or insulating layer to wear underneath your rain jacket (highly recommended, even in summer)

A rain jacket or outer shell to stay dry and protected from wind or weather, it gets VERY windy out here at times.

A snack and/or full lunch for the day, depending on how much you think you’ll want to eat while out on the river

Water or a reusable drink bottle, we provide bottled water.

Any personal items you may want for comfort (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, etc.)
Because this is a full-day trip in Interior Alaska, conditions can change quickly, and being layered properly makes a big difference in comfort.
