Fishing License Buying Guide:

All non-residents of Alaska age 16 and older are required to have a valid Alaska Sport Fishing License. If you are only fishing for one day, you may purchase a 1-Day Nonresident Sport Fishing License.

YOUR LICENSE MUST HAVE THE CORRECT DATE AND TIME.

When purchasing your license, be sure to select the exact date of your trip and the correct start time. For example, if your fishing trip begins at 10:00 AM, select 10:00 AM as the start time when purchasing your license. Your license must be valid before your trip begins.

Important: Do not purchase a King Salmon Stamp. King salmon fishing is closed for our trips, and the stamp is not required. The Alaska Department of Fish & Game online store may automatically add it to your cart, so be sure to remove it before checking out.
